The Galaxy All STAR
This past Saturday marked the release of the Sole Collector x Penny Signature Pack at Niketown Las Vegas. During the event, Nike's Gentry Humphrey revealed some new colorways of the Air Foamposite line that will be dropping next year during the spring/summer. He also debuted the "What the Foam" Air Foamposite One which we previewed last week. He confirmed that the sneaker will be called the Galaxy All Star edition and will drop some time next year. Nike ZOOM ROOKIE
Yesterday Sole Collector held a special collaborative event with Nike in Las Vegas. At the event guests were treated with a small glimpse of next years Foamposite lineup. Check out the image and see what Nike has in store for us in 2012.

The Nike Air Foamposite One "Metallilic Red"
It is officially confirmed. The Nike Air Foamposite One "Metallilic Red" will be released in February of 2012. If you thought 2011 was the year of th Foam, we think 2012 might give it a run for it's money. Check out the first look courtesy of SoleLand. The sneaker is officially scheduled to launch on Valentines Day next year.
The "GOLDEN STATE" colorway
Over the weekend Sole Collector teamed up with Nike for a special Penny Hardaway event. One of the main highlights of the night was the first look at the 2012 Nike Foamposite collection. One of the main stand outs was this Golden State Foamposite One. The shoe pays homage to Penny Hardaway's original draft team, the Golden State Warriors. Release is currently scheduled for the Spring of 2012
FoamPosite Comic Strip
The Nike Foamposite has been the talk of all sneakerheads this year. With nearly every release becoming an instant sell out, it should come to no surprise that Nike already has another big year planned for the shoe in 2012. Despite all this there are still numerous sample Foamposites which never hit production. A great example is this "Comic Strip" Foamposite Pro designed by former Nike Basketball footwear product creative director, Jeff Johnson. The sneaker was designed as a test to see how something other than color would come out on a pair of Foams. As you may have guessed, Nike must not have been too pleased with the results since we have only recieved solid colored versions of the shoe.
